Tatlong pinakabagong inobasyon na inaasahang magpapabilis at higit na magbibigay ng hitik na aksiyon sa ipatutupad ng Federation International des Volleyball (FIVB) sa pagsasagawa sa bansa ng 2016 FIVB World Women’s Club Championship sa Oktubre 18-23.
Ito ang ipinahayag ni FIVB executive committee member Dr. Gustav Jacobi at Philippine Super Liga president Ramon “Tatz” Suzara matapos selyuhan sa pagdaraos ng torneo sa isang memorandum of agreement (MOA) sa Manila.
Inihayag nina Jacobi at Suzara na ang unang pagpapatupad ng LED Net Technology, ang Hawkeye Challenge at ang 15 seconds service shot clock na inaasahan nilang mas magbibigay ng matinding taktika sa pagitan ng mga manlalaro at maging mga coaching staff ng bawat koponan.
“We will be implementing for the first time, to give a historic moment for the Philippines, the modern technology with the LED Net, which actually be placed on the white side marker of the net and will show a scrolling score, the players inside the court, and probably some stats when the play is hold or while in a time-out,” pahayag ni Jacobi.

Ipinaliwanag naman ni Suzara na ang Hawkeye challenge ay halos katulad sa ginagamit at ipinapatupad nito na video challenge sa Super Liga bagamat mas partikular na pagtutuunan ng teknolohiya ang katulad na anggulo na ginagamit sa larong lawn tennis.
“We will have a much better look at the angle of the ball and the hands of the players as we can zoom in or watch the angle of the ball and the angle of the block of the defensive player,” sabi ni Suzara. “Pati iyung tinamaan ng bola na line ay makikita kung out o hindi,” aniya.
Susubukan din ng nag-oorganisang PSL at co-organizer nitong Eventcourt ang pagpapatupad ng 15-seconds service clock para maisagawa ng service play.
“It will take away some moment, like talking to opponent or those moments of celebration or jubilation, but it will speed up the match or at least limit the games to within two hours,” pahayag ni Jacobi.
Inaasahan na mapapanood ang world-class na volleyball action sa Manila matapos pormal na igawad ng International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) ang paghohost ng Pilipinas sa torneo na tinitiyak na lalahukan ng mahuhusay na pambansang manlalaro ng lalahok sa Olympics na nagnanais makarating sa Pilipinas.
“The tournament will be held two months after the Rio Olympics, and we’re quite sure that players from different countries are wanting more to have tournaments and visit places they have never been into, which will probably makes the tournament as tough and as top level as possiblen,” aniya.
