Naitala ni midfielder Misagh Bahadoran ang dalawang goal sa ika-21 at ika-56 minuto, habang kumana si Matthew Hartmann sa ika-24 minuto para sa panalo ng Global FC. Tinanghal na ‘Man of the Match’ si Bahadoran.
Nabuo noong 2000, ang Global FC ay kinilala sa AFC Quarterly issue noong 2015 na “One of the leading sides in the Philippines and pioneers in football’s fast-growing development in the archipelago”.

“The moment is a little bit of a buzz because winning the UFL Cup is great, but to know as well that we are going back to the AFC Cup is really, really exciting.
