Dismayado ang ilang student leader sa “PiliPinas 2016 Vice Presidential Debate” na ginanap sa University of Santo Tomas noong Linggo.
Ayon kay College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) president Marc Lino Abila, hindi tinalakay sa debate ang kalagayan ng edukasyon sa bansa.
“Once again, pressing issues in education such as tuition and other school fees, subsidy of state colleges and universities, and K-12 were not tackled in the debate,” pahayag ni Abila.
“This is already the third debate and we are extremely dismayed that education, a very important youth and people’s issue, was not discussed,” dugtong niya.
Binanggit niya na 20 milyon o 37 porsiyento ng mga botante ay kabataan ngunit binalewala sa naturang debate.
