Hinihintay ng Kongreso ang paglagda ni President Aquino sa panukalang “Farm Tourism Development Act” matapos itong ratipikahin ng Kamara at Senado sa bicameral conference committee report noong Pebrero 2, 2016.
Ang Kamara ay kinatawan sa bicameral body nina Rep. Rene L. Relampagos (1st District, Bohol), chairman ng House Committee on Tourism na nagtaguyod sa plenaryo; Rep. Sharon S. Garin (Party-list, AAMBIS-OWA), may-akda ng House Bill 5299 (House Farm Tourism Bill); Rep. Franz “Chikoy” E. Alvarez (1st District, Palawan); Rep. Scott Davies S. Lanete, (M.D. Masbate); Rep. Victoria Isabel G. Noel (Party-list AN WARAY); at Rep. Bellaflor J. Angara-Castillo (Lone District, Aurora).
Sa Senado naman, kinatawan ito nina Senators Cynthia A. Villar, chairperson ng Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, Lito M. Lapid at JV G. Ejercito. (Bert de Guzman)
