Si Lt. Gen. Edgar Fallorina, ang kasalukuyang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Deputy Chief-of-Staff, ang hinirang na bagong Philippine Air Force (PAF) commander.

Papalitan niya si outgoing PAF chief Lt. Gen.

Gen. Raul Del Rosario, Air Education and Training Command chief Maj. Gen. Salvador Mison, kapwa mula sa PMA Class 1984; at Chief of Air Staff Maj. Gen.

“Gen. Fallorina is one of our most proficient helicopter pilots, I, we served with him when we were young and he was in the field for a long time, as well as, became a flight commander in 205th Helicopter Wing at the height of our internal security operationscampaign in Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon,” sabi ni Padilla.
