Sa comparison chart pagkatapos ng botohan, si Maine ang nanguna sa botong 63,380,565. Lamang siya ng 8,231,572 sa pumangalawa.

Pero pagkatapos lumabas ng resulta, may tweet na: Letter to the Nickelodeon to Disqualify Maine Mendoza from KCA 2016 due to cheating by network, management and fans. JaDine KathNiel LizQuen started this petition with a single signature and now has 653 supporters. Start a petition today to change something you care about.”

Mabilis na naglabas ang JaDineLand ng: “We must say that we are not joining and we didn’t agree to join this petition. To whoever started this petition, please remove the name of JaDine, we didn’t agree on joining this. And to all the JaDines, please do not sign the petition. Thank you.”

Ayon naman sa report, ang Nickelodeon lamang ang puwedeng mag-confirm ng nanalo at mag-disqualify ng nominees. Uso rin daw sa love teams ang gumagawa ng mga ganoong petition, maging sa ibang bansa, kapag hindi nanalo ang kanilang ibinoto.
