Pinagtibay kahapon ng Sandiganbayan Third Division ang unang desisyon ng graft court na nagbabasura sa kahilingan ni Janet Napoles na makapagpiyansa sa kasong graft at plunder kaugnay sa pork barrel scam.
“Napoles’ motion asking the reversal of the court’s earlier denial of her petition to bail is devoid of merit…accused Napoles has not raised any sound argument that would warrant a reversal of the Court’s Resolution promulgated on October 16, 2015,” nakasaad sa desisyong ipinalabas ni Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang.
Ang kasong graft at plunder ni Napoles ay may kinalaman sa umano’y paggamit ng P345 million Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) ni Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile na ibinigay sa mga pekeng non-government organization ni Napoles. (Jun Fabon)
