Malabong maisapubliko ng Kamara ang resulta ng joint congressional inquiry sa Mamasapano massacre bagamat naghahanda na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa paggunita sa unang anibersaryo ng brutal na pagkamatay ng 44 na tauhan ng PNP-Special Action Force (SAF) noong Enero 25, 2015.
Ito ang opinyon ni Ifugao Rep. Teddy Brawner Baguilat dahil, aniya, mas pursigido ang liderato ng Kamara na isulong ang kontrobersiyal na Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) sa pagbubukas ng sesyon sa Enero 19.
“I think the leadership would like to focus on the BBL debates without having the Mamasapano incident muddle the bill’s progress,” ayon kay Baguilat.
Subalit iginiit ng mga kongresista sa Committee on Public Order at Committee on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity na maglabas na ng sarili nitong resulta ng imbestigasyon sa Mamasapano massacre, na umani ng matinding batikos mula sa mamamayan.

“The anniversary of the Mamasapano massacre marks one of the darkest days in the history of fight against terrorism.
The 44 SAF heroes who gave their lives for the country deserve justice,” sabi ni Davao del Norte Rep. Anton Lagdameo.
“And one way we can do this is by giving their families the answers they have been waiting for,” dagdag niya.
Si Lagdameo ay miyembro ng House Ad Hoc Committee on the BBL at Committee on Mindanao Affairs.
Sa ngayon, nakapaghain na ang gobyerno ng kasong kriminal laban sa mga tauhan ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) na itinuturong nasa likod ng pamamaslang sa mga police commando.
