Nakapag-isyu ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) ng 25,000 visa sa mga non-tourist foreign national sa bansa sa taong 2015. Ito ang nangingibabaw sa iba pang mga aktibidad kabilang ang paghuli sa mga high profile fugitive at pagpapabuti ng polisiya o patakaran.
“2015 has been exciting for us, being our diamond anniversary year, and with all the accomplishments that we achieved as a team,” pahayag ni Commissioner Siegfred Mison.
Ang bayad sa aplikasyon para sa tourist visa ay lumampas sa P1 bilyon sa unang pagkakataon sa taong ito.
