Binanggit ni Rep. Erlpe John M. Amante (2nd District, Agusan del Norte), may-akda ng House Bill 6070 (Tourism Health Facilities Act), ang mga insidente ng pagkamatay ng ilang turista sa Boracay Island, Leyte, at Coron, Palawan ay dahil sa kakulangan ng malapit na pagamutan upang malunasan ang mga pasyente.
