MAAARI nang itigil ang pag-iimprenta ng “Will Smith 2016” campaign signs.

Nakapanayam ng ET ang 47 taong gulang na aktor sa New York premiere ng kanyang bagong pelikula na Concussion noong Miyerkules at nilinaw ang mga inihayag niya sa CBS Sunday Morning nitong nakaraang linggo tungkol sa kanyang pagtakbo bilang president.

“If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they’re going to force me into the political arena,” pahayag ni Will Smith sa nasabing programa, at idinugtong na, “I mean, I gotta be the president. What else would I run for? Come on!”

Ngunit nang tanungin tungkol sa posibilidad ng paglaot sa pulitika,sinabi niyang: “I was really kind of joking when I said that,” pag-amin ni Smith sa ET, idinagdag na ang kanyang papel sa pelikula bilang Nigerian doctor na si Benner Omalu tungkol sa trauma ay naging inspirasyon niya sa usaping pulitikal.

“Dr. Omalu has such a positive view of America and the American dream,” ani Smith. “As an actor, being able to be a part of that and to feel from the outsider’s perspective how great this country is, I sort of got inspired as I was looking at the current political landscape. I was inspired to defend the ideals that help build such a beautiful country.” (ET Online)
