Isinulong ni Senator Cynthia Villar ang Farm Tourism Bill na naglalayong mabantayan ang kalikasan sa kanayunan at mapakinabangan ng sambayanan.
“The Philippines as an agricultural country is blessed with abundant natural resources, biological diversity and cultural heritage. We have what it takes to take a strong lead in farm tourism in the region, and even globally,” ani Villar.
Nakasaad sa kanyang panukala ang pagkakaloob ng insentibo sa buwis sa farm tourism at pagkakaroon ng Farm Tourism Strategic Action Plan na nakabatay sa National Tourism Development Plan.
