Hiniling ni Rep. Cheryl P. Deloso-Montalla ang imbestigasyon ng Kamara sa diumano’y iresponsableng pagmimina sa Zambales.
“The ill-effects of nickel ore mining have been too hard to ignore as threats to the environment, livelihood and inhabitants of the host communities in the municipalities of Masinloc, Candelaria and Santa Cruz,” ayon kay Montalla, may-akda ng House Resolution 2495.
Hiniling niya sa House committee on Ecology at House committee on Natural Resources na agad magsiyasat tungkol sa trahedya sa kapaligiran na nangyari sa mga bayan ng Masinloc, Candelaria at Santa Cruz, na resulta ng walang habas at ireponsableng pagmimina sa mga naturang lugar. (Bert de Guzman)
