Tutol si Top Rank big boss Bob Arum na labanan ni eight-division world titlist si Briton boxing superstar Amir Khan pero wala siyang magagawa kung ito ang pipiliin ng Pinoy boxer.

Nasa mga kamay ni Pacquiao ang pagpapasya kung sino ang huling makakalaban sa Abril 2016 na nangunguna sa pagpipilian si Khan kasunod ang mga ka-stable sa Top Rank na mga Amerikanong sina WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley at WBO junior welterweight titlist Terence Crawford.

“I purposely kept myself out of it because at this point it doesn’t matter who Manny picks,” sabi ni Arum sa ESPN.

“Would I prefer it not to be Khan? Yes, but this is Manny’s last fight. I have a duty to him to present him all of the options. Do I hope he doesn’t pick Khan though? Of course [because I don’t promote him], but I don’t think he will pick Khan.”

May gustong patunayan si Pacquiao kay Khan na nagyabang na nadehado sa kanya ang eight-division world titlist sa kanilang mga sparring sa Wild Card Boxing Club sa Hollywood, California.

“He [Pacquiao] is a great fighter. This could be one of the highlights of my career. I had the better of him in training. So let’s see [what happens in the ring].
