Tuloy na ang pre-trial sa kasong plunder ng abogadong si Lucila “Gigi” Reyes ngayong Martes, Oktubre 27, matapos pinal na ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan Third Division ang kanyang kahilingan na hintayin ang bill of particulars o mga detalye sa kaso.
“The Motion for Partial Reconsideration…is denied considering that her reliance on the Decision on the Supreme Court En Banc promulgated on August 11, 2015 in G.R. 213455 is misplaced,” saad sa resolusyon ng korte na nilagdaan nina Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang at Associate Justices Samuel Martires at Sarah Jane Fernandez.
Sa desisyon ng Supreme Court noong Agosto 11, pinagbigyan ang petisyon ni Enrile, dating boss at kapwa akusado ni Reyes sa kasong plunder kaugnay sa pork barrel scam, na magbigay ang Ombudsman ng bill of particulars sa kaso. Dahil dito, sinuspinde ang pre-trial ni Enrile.
Sa kanyang mosyon, hiniling ni Reyes, kasalukuyang nakadetine sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City, na suspendihin ang kanyang pre-trial dahil dapat na makinabang din siya sa desisyon ng Supreme Court.

Gayunman, ipinaliwanag ng Third Division na “she did not a file a motion for a bill of particulars with this Court or a petition of similar nature with the Supreme Court.”
