Isasabak ng Pilipinas ang pinakamagagaling na men’s at women’s volleyball team sa Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Asian Under 23 Championships at 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG).

Ito ang sinabi ni Larong Volleyball ng Pilipinas, Incorporated (LVPI) secretary general Ricky Palou sa lingguhang Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) forum sa Shakey’s Malate.

“We submitted to Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) a list of players and they approved the inclusion even though the team is not a medal contender provided they participate and pay on their own,” sinabi ni Palou.

“We were told that the team will be send to gauge how our women’s team will fare up against our rivals in the SEA Games and how fast we can be at par against them up to the year 2017,” paliwanag pa ni Palou.
