Malaking tulong ang ipinaabot na suporta ng Research and Development (R&D) sa pagsusulong ng mas maunlad na agrikultura ng bansa.
Ayon kay Senator Cynthia Villar, suportado rin ng National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) ang R&D upang mapataas ang productivity rate at magkaroon ng mas malaking oportunidad sa trabaho ang mas maraming Pinoy.
“I strongly believe relevant R&D and technological innovation can also propel the agricultural sector to greater heights. We need to help farmers and growers adapt to climate change to ensure continuous supply,” paliwanag ni Villar.
