Ipinag-utos ng Sandiganbayan Third Division ang pagsuspinde sa puwesto kay Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Undersecretary Mario Relampagos at sa siyam pang opisyal at kawani ng gobyerno na gaya ni Senator Juan Ponce Enrile ay kinasuhan din ng graft kaugnay ng “pork barrel” scam.
Sa resolusyong inilabas sa media kahapon, idineklara ng graft court na si Relampagos at ang siyam pang akusado “are hereby suspended from their respective government positions and from any other public office which they may now or hereafter be holding for a period of ninety days from receipt of this resolution, unless a motion for reconsideration is seasonably filed.”
“The suspension of the accused shall be automatically lifted upon expiration of the ninety-day period from the implementation of this resolution,” pagtitiyak sa resolusyon na isinulat ni Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang at pinagtibay nina Associate Justices Alex Quiroz at Samuel Martires.
Bukod kay Relampagos, suspendido rin ang mga kawani niyang sina Budget and Management Specialist Chief Rosario Nunez, Administrative Assistant VI Lalaine Paule, at Administrative Assistant VI Marilou Bare.
Mga klase, pasok sa tanggapan ng gobyerno suspendido sa Oktubre 31
Suspendido rin si Technology Resource Center (TRC) Chief Accountant Marivic Jover at limang kawani ng National Livelihood Development Corporation (NLDC), kabilang sina President Gondelina Amata, Director IV Emmanuel Alexis Sevidal, Director IV Chita Jalandoni, Project Development Officer IV Sofia Cruz at Gregoria Buenaventura.
Ipinag-utos ng graft court sa DBM, TRC, NLDC, at Office of the President na agad na ipatupad ang nasabing suspension order.
