Inanunsiyo kahapon ni Vice President Jejomar C. Binay ang record-breaking na P30.68 billion gross income at P16.22 billion net income ng Home Development Mutual (Pag-IBIG) Fund sa 34 taon nitong kasaysayan.

Inihayag ni Binay, chairman ng Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, umabot na sa P376.09 bilyon ang kabuuang assets ng Pag-IBIG mas mataas ng 9.12 porsiyento kumpara noong 2014 sa mga stakeholder sa ginanap na Pag-IBIG Fund’s Midterm State of the Fund Address.

“Pag-IBIG Fund continues to be bigger, offers better services and more benefits to its members through faster and more efficient operations,all without increasing its monthly contribution which remains at P100 since the 1980s,”sabi ni Binay.

“The record-breaking achievements in 2014 reinforce Pag-IBIG’s solid and robust financial standing that resulted from the reforms and innovations that Pag-IBIG put into action in the past four years,”dugtong nito.

Aniya, ang Pag-IBIG’s housing loan noong 2014 ay isang bagong record na umabot sa P40.6 bilyon para sa 54,026 bahay. Ito ay tumaas sa 19 porsiyento kumpara sa 14 porsiyento mula sa P33.96 bilyon para sa 47,562 unit noong 2013.

Noong 2014, tumaas din ang performing loans ratio PLR sa 87 porsiyento mula sa 83 porsiyento noong 2013 at ito na ang pinakamataas na PLR na nakuha ng Pag-IBIG buhat sa mababang 79 porsiyento noong 2008.

“In 2014, Pag-IBIG recorded an impressive housing loan portfolio, a feat propelled by the reforms implemented by the Fund such as the creation of a department focused on marketing the housing business,the execution of strengthened underwriting guidelines, and an efficient collection mechanism, which resulted to high loan takeouts and the best performing loans ratio Pag-IBIG has ever attained in its 34-year history,” pahayag ng bise president.

Ang mga nakolekta sa housing loans in arrears ay resulta sa paglipat ng 47 porsiyento ng non-performing loans, o 189,498 account sa active accounts o performing loans.Noong 2014 lamang nakakolekta ang Pag-IBIG ng P2.7 bilyon sa mga collection agency.
