National Day of Remembrance sa SAF 44

Iminumungkahi ng isang mambabatas na ideklara ang Enero 25 bawat taon bilang National Day of Remembrance para sa 44 miyembro ng elite Special Action Force (SAF) ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na nagbuwis ng buhay sa Mamasapano siege noong Enero 25, 2015.

Sinabi ni Rep. Alfredo B. Benitez (3rd District, Negros Occidental) na pagdedeklara ng National Day of Remembrance, maipagpapatuloy ng mga Pilipino ang pagpaparangal sa buhay at kabayanihan ng mga kasapi ng police force na namatay sa pagtupad ng kanilang tungkulin.

“The National Day of Remembrance shall ensure that the nation continues to honor the lives and heroism of the members of the police force who were killed in action and pay respect and gratitude to the entire police force whose lives are at risks as they perform their jobs,” ayon kay Benitez, chairman ng House Committee on Housing and Urban Development.
