Naniniwala si WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao na mapipilitan si WBC at WBA titlist  Floyd Mayweather Jr. na harapin siya sa Mayo 2 sa Las Vegas, Nevada dahil sa kahihiyang inaabot nito sa boxing fans.

May mga ulat na sa halip na si Pacquiao,  muli na lamang haharapin ni Mayweather si WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto dahil mas magaan na kalaban ang Puerto Rican na una nitong tinalo sa 12-round unanimous decision noong  2012.

Pero sa kasikatan ni Pacquiao ngayon, matapos kumbidahin ni Prince William sa isang dinner sa London, United Kingdom at maging hurado sa Miss Universe Beauty Pageant sa Miami, Florida, umaasa ang Pinoy boxer na siya ang pipiliin ni Mayweather.

“I think it will happen, I believe that,” sabi ni Pacquiao sa BoxingScene. com. “If this doesn’t happen now I don’t think it will, so now is the time.”

Para kay Pacquiao, nasa 80 porsiyento nang sigurado na matutuloy ang laban nila ni Mayweather na ang lagda na lamang nito ang hinihintay ni Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

“If you ask me what the percentage is, it’s 80-20 [that it will happen]. I think he’s got pressure,”  ani Pacquiao. “He’s got no alibi - blood testing is no longer a problem, Bob Arum the promoter is no longer a problem, now there are no more problems.”

“The fans are pressuring him. I tell them we have agreed everything, the rules and regulations are not a problem. And if you want it higher, I am happy with that,” dagdag ng Pambansang Kamao. “ I will take 40 [percent]  to 60. I’m OK with that - for the sake of the fans. We are just waiting for you to sign the contract.”
