Binira ni Top Rank chief executive officer Bob Arum ang muling paninisi sa kanya ni WBC at WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. kaya hindi matuloy-tuloy ang laban ng Amerikano kay WBO 147 pounds titlist Manny Pacquiao.

Sa panayam ng BoxingScene.com, iginiit ni Arum na pumayag na sila sa lahat ng kondisyones ni Mayweather ngunit naghahanap lamang ito ng maidadahilan para hindi matuloy ang sagupaan na mismong ito ang naghayag sa May 2 sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Idinagdag ni Arum na kasama sa negosasyon sina CBS president Leslie Moonves at HBO chairman at CEO Richard Plepler pero pinabulaanan ito ng manedyer ni Mayweather na si Al Haymon at Showtime Sports vice president Stephen Espinoza.

“This is something that is totally strange. There is one guy to blame. And that’s Floyd Mayweather. Everybody involved wants this fight, just like the fans,” ani Arum.

“We’ve signed off on every point. We’ve agreed to everything. But push comes to shove, there’s one guy to blame,” dagdag niya.

Nauna rito, sinabi ni Arum sa Azteca Sports na malinaw na pumayag na sila sa kasunduan at naduduwag lamang si Mayweather na harapin si Pacquiao.

“Mayweather is not a boxer. Everybody knows that Manny accepted the terms that were negotiated for the fight [and the terms were negotiated by with everyone] including CBS and his management with Al Haymon, but Floyd Mayweather once again threw the fight because he’s a chicken,” dagdag ni Arum.
