“Dahil sa mga hindi inaasahang pagkakataon, I’m sad to announced that Joniver Robles will not be going forward in the competition. His journey on the show ends here today,” sabi ni Bamboo. “After much deliberation, napag-usapan ni Joniver at ng programa na it’s best for him not to continue with the show, due to personal reasons.”

To all my supporters specially friends and love ones... to my Mom. I didn’t know what to do and not hearing anything from my coach and teammates or anyone from the show made me wait until tonight. IT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME. Myself, being in that show is ‘personal’ itself I’ve been struggling and doing this all my life and always wanted to perform in a worldwide stage. I will never exchange this opportunity for anything. I am saying this because these people can always make up lies to be used against me.”

Pero sinagot ito ni Joniver ng, “This is for those who are saying I broke some rule or did something para magkaproblema ‘yung show. Post it here. Just make sure your facts are straight and speaks for itself at hindi nabasa n’yo lang at narinig kung kanino.”

Tinanong namin ang business unit head ng The Voice of the Philippines na si Ms. Mercy Tolentino tungkol sa isyung ito at agad naman siyang tumawag sa amin.

Basta ang nangyari when we talked to him, he agreed anuman ang napag-usapan namin at hindi niya kinuwestiyon iyon, wala siyang comment,” paliwanag sa amin ng TV executive.

“If it’s got nothing to do with my team, I’m hands off. I’m the wrong person to ask regarding this. You might have to talk to the staff who are in charge of us on The Voice and then you’ll have to go from there. If it happened in my team, I’ll have something to say,” paliwanag ni Coach Lea.

“It’s hard kasi it would depend on the circumstances. If it’s something that the show is at fault, then that’s one thing. But if it’s something where the contestant mismo ‘yung at fault, and if they did something wrong, then it’s like sinayang na opportunity. It really depends on what the circumstances are,” maayos na paliwanag ng The Voice coach.
