“It was a good year. We had one fight but it was good. I wanted to do another fight but circumstances regarding my training, regarding [the injury to my] knee that I suffered before the fight with Mike Alvarado,” diin ni Marquez.
“But it was a good year, people went to the fight at the Inglewood Forum where I started my career in the U.S. and I feel good, satisfied, I do not want to retire, but if the body does not allow me I will be forced into retirement. I know the fans want to see me [in the ring], but if the physical does not answer me, I’ll have to leave things alone.
