Mananatiling pangulo ng Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPhil) si Jean Henri Lhuillier kasama ang lahat ng mga opisyal matapos na ipagpaliban ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) ang dapat sana’y eleksiyon ng asosasyon sa Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

Umabot sa kabuuang 61 miyembro sa buong bansa ang dumalo sa itinakdang eleksiyon ng mga bagong opisyal ng ASAPhil subalit napagkasunduan ng board na sinundan sa iniutos ni POC Secretary General Hontiveros na itakda na lamang ang eleksiyon dalawang taon mula ngayon.

“We don’t know their voter’s list and those that will be allowed to vote that is why their board, as well as the POC, decided to moved the election two years from now, with their current officers remaining their posts. We asked them also for a guidelines of their elections for POC approval,” sinabi ni Hontiveros.

Bunga ng pagkakausog ng eleksiyon ay mananatili bilang president si Lhuillier habang Executive Vice President si Atty. Rolando Rivera. Uupo uli bilang P-Mindanao si Col. Dionisio Robles, VP-Visayas si Jose Miguel Jimenez at VP-Luzon si Venerando Dizer.

Ang mga Director ay sina Eufracio Dela Cruz, Joel Panes, Johnny Perlas at Leopoldo Mathay habang mananatili bilang Secretary General si Danny Francisco.

Nakatakda namang bumuo ng komite ang asosasyon upang itakda ang mga regulasyon at kaukulang proseso upang maging lehitimong miyembro ang bawat isa sa kabuuang nakalistang 61 miyembro.

“We are now looking at creating a committee that will oversee the memberships. Among those that we are looking at is that they must be active members or actively participating in our national open and other ASAPhil sanctioned event and others,” sinabi ni Lhuillier.
