PAGDATING ng takdang panahon, ayaw ni Iñigo Pascual na taga-showbiz ang mapangasawa niya.

“I want a private life po as much as possible,” sabi ng bagets.

E, paano ang ibinuking ni Julian Estrada na “ka-something” niya na si Sofia Andres na taga-showbiz?

“Eh, di aalis po kami ng showbiz,” mabilis na hirit ni Iñigo.

Samantala, bago namin kinausap si Iñigo ay ipinakilala muna kami sa kanya ng manager niyang si Erickson Raymundo at binanggit na straightforward daw kami magtanong kaya huwag mabibigla.

Inamin ng unico hijo ni Piolo Pascual sa Q and A portion ng presscon ng Relaks, It’s Just Pag-Ibig na gusto nila ni Sofia ang isa’t isa, kaya diretso ang tanong namin kung ilang buwan na silang magka-MU ng dalagita.

“Ilang months? Wow, straightforward talaga, tama nga,” natawang sambit ng batang aktor. “Ah, we’ve been talking since I came back, June. We told each other that we have feelings with each other, pero it’s not something na we’re taking seriously.”

Kailan magle-level up ang mutual understanding period ng relationship nila?

“I think when the right time comes, we’re still both young and we can’t really say that now, still depends what will happen in life. But, yeah, we’re good to say that in our lives and I’m very thankful that we have each other,” sagot ni Iñigo.

Sa madaling salita, hindi pa sila totally committed sa isa’t isa kaya may posibilidad na makikipag-date sila sa iba.

“I’m not the type who would do that naman po, when I say mutual understanding is you have the understanding with each other na nothing official commitment to each other but you have to respect each other since you have this understanding.”

So, puwede niyang pagbawalan si Sofia kapag may gustong manligaw o gusto nitong lumabas kasama ang ibang boys?

“Hindi naman po, pero we’re watchful with each other, respects each other. Hindi naman po pinagbabawalan, pero may moments po na ganu’n, we just try to protect each other,” maayos na pangangatwiran ng bagets.

Nagkakilala na ang kanyang ama at si Sofia at ang komento raw ng Papa Piolo niya, “She’s nice, very pleasant, very kind, very polite, alam niyang MU po kami, sabi lang niya, do not take things seriously since we’re still young.”

Si Sofia pa lang daw ang unang nakarelasyon niya.

Si Sofia ba ang hadlang sa pagbabalik ni Iñigo sa Amerika para ituloy ang kanyang singing career bilang miyembro ng boy band?

Pinayuhan namin ang bagitong aktor na halos lahat ng artista sa Pilipinas ay nangangarap maging international artist, samantalang siya na nandoon na, abot-kamay na niya, nagdadalawang-isip pa.

“Mahirap po kasi, I wouldn’t say that it’s Sofia, the contract po kasi is long term. It’s not that easy kahit sabihin pang international artist, you have to consider the contract if it’s a good contract, you have to always protect yourself, you know where you stand and make sure that you’re secure,” katwiran ng bagets.

Mahigpit pala kasi ang kontrata at hindi na makakapag-aral si Inigo dahil wala silang gagawin kundi mag-tour sa buong mundo.

“So, we’re still deciding po, there’s another offer naman po with another boy band, I would still audition for other record label,” paliwanag pa ng bagitong aktor. “I wouldn’t say it’s one-sided (contract). Let’s put it this way, I wanna finish my studies, like I wanna do that, it’s hard for me to finish my studies because I won’t be able to concentrate kasi we’ve travelling and all that.

“And sabi po ng dad ko, he’s more on the education side, he wants me to finish my studies.”

Nasa 11th grade na si Inigo sa Amerika at ngayong nasa Pilipinas siya ay naka-enrol siya online.

“I want to spend time with my dad, ‘yun naman po talaga ang gusto ko when I graduate and when he retires from the business, we’re gonna have a lot of time together, make up for the time that we’re not together because I grew up in the states. So I want to spend more time with him.”

Maski raw nandito sa Pilipinas si Iñigo ay hindi naman sila magkasama sa bahay ng tatay niya.

“I’m staying with my mom, ‘pag free po ako, pumupunta po ako sa taping niya, pareho po kaming busy. ‘Pag nagwo-work po ako, I’m with my mom,” say ng binatilyo.

Bagamat slang magsalita ay marunong siyang mag-Tagalog, at kapansin-pansin ang paggamit ng “po at opo”.

“Dito po ako ipinanganak, I moved to the States when I was eight years old po.”

Permanent residence na ang status ni Iñigo sa Amerika dahil pinetisyon siya kasama ang mama niya ng lolo niya sa mother side.

“We’re applying for dual citizenship so I would be able to stay in both countries in a period of time. Like I would have to go back in the States after six months because of our situation there,” kuwento ni Inigo

At si Piolo naman ay citizen na rin dahil ipinetisyon naman ng nanay niyang si Ms. Amelia Pascual.

Ngayong nasa showbiz na si Iñigo ay nauunawaan niyang hindi na niya maiiwasan ang maintriga.

“Well, this is the life we chose, so if I have to be in showbiz I have to be ready for that and when watching my dad growing up, I feel like equip myself to be able to answer and to be able to understand and know how to deal with things, pero it still depends,” magandang sagot ng bagets.

At kapag pamilya na ang inintriga ay, “That might be the reason na I might speak, pero ‘pag about me or someone, I won’t entertain na lang po.

“Pag bina-bash po ako because kino-compare ako sa dad ko, I would say that I’m 17, I have time to grow, I have time to be able to polish myself, not everyone is born perfect po,” magandang sabi ng bagets.
