Kinastigo ni WBC at WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. ang pahayag ng kanyang ama at trainer na si Floyd Mayweather Sr. na tiniyak na matutuloy ang laban niya kay WBO 147 pounds champion Manny Pacquiao sa 2015.

Sa panayam ng FightHype.com, iginiit ni Mayweather na walang pakialam ang kanyang ama, gayundin si Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, sa pagpapatakbo ng kanyang karera.

“Well my father is totally wrong. Like I said before, we have people constantly being removed from the Mayweather Promotions team, Team Mayweather, and we also have people being removed from The Money Team,” sinabi ni Mayweather na kampeon din sa WBC at WBA sa junior middleweight division.

“I want my dad to be with my team, but if he continues to go out there and speak on things that he has no knowledge about without communicating with me, then I must get a new trainer,” diin ng kasalukuyang pound-for-pound king.

Para kay Mayweather, ang tanging puwedeng makialam at maghayag sa kanyang makakalaban ay ang kanyang tagapayo at manedyer na si Al Haymon.

“Once again, my dad has no say-so on my career, [Mayweather Promotions CEO] Leonard Ellerbe has no say-so on my career, and me and Al Haymon, we’re going to compromise and communicate and always be on the same page,” giit ni Mayweather.
