Hinimok ng state weather forecasters ang mga residente ng Metro Manila na maghanda sa biglaang pagbuhos ng ulan sa hapon at gabi hanggang sa weekend.
Sinabi ni Aldczar Aurelio, weather forecaster ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), na ang ridge ng high-pressure area (HPA) sa Luzon, isang anti-cyclone weather system, ay patuloy na maghahatid ng maulap na kalangitan sa buong bansa.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Aurelio na ang Metro Manila at ang halos kabuuan ng bansa at makararanas ng biglaan at kalat-kalat na ulan at kidlat, kalimitan ay sa hapon o gabi.

“We could expect warm mornings but rainy afternoons or evenings until this weekend due to the occurrence of thunderstorms, which usually occur during the rainy season,” paliwanag niya.
“Currently there is no tropical cyclone outside or inside the Philippine area of responsibility. We expect that the current weather situation will prevail until the weekend,” dagdag niya.
