Naaresto na ang suspek sa marahas na pag-atake sa isang 65-anyos na Pilipina sa Midtown Manhattan nitong Marso 29, ito ang kinumpirma ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Biyernes.
“We express our gratitude to US law enforcement agencies for their swift action, as well as to those who contribute to efforts to ensure that perpetrators of violence against Asian Americans, including Filipinos, are apprehended,” ayon sa DFA.
“We urge Filipinos to remain vigilant and to immediately report any incident of hate crimes against members of the Filipino Community in the United States to the Philippine Embassy or Consulates General in the United States,” dugtong pa ng ahensya.
