Kinukunsinti umano ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP/NPA/NDF) ang sinasabing extra-judicial killings (EJKs) sa war on drugs campaign ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa loob ng dalawang taon.

Ito ang naging reaksyon ni dating Senator Antonio Trillanes IV at sinabing hindi man lamang “binabatikos” ng mga ito ang administrasyong Duterte hanggang sa putulin ng pangulo ang peace negotiations nito sa kilusan.

“As a background, during the first two years of the Duterte administration, the CPP/NPA/NDF are in a power sharing/coalition government with duterte. In fact, there were at least three cabinet secretaries from the CPP/NPA/NDF. During those times, they never called out duterte for the EJKs and, therefore, did not file a case with the ICC. It was only when the peace talks was eventually scrapped by Duterte that they started raising issues against him,” aniya.

Iniharap lamang aniya ng CPP/NPA/NDF ang kanilang communications sa ICC (International Crimininal Court) nito lamang kalagitnaan ng 2018.”

“So it’s clear that when the CPP/NPA/NDF were still in bed with Duterte, they countenanced Duterte’s EJKs,” paliwanag nito.

Gayunman, itinanggi ni CPP founder at NDF chief political consultant Joma Sison na nakipag-alyansa sila kay Duterte at sinabing ang pangulo lamang ang madalas magsalita kaugnay ng pagsasapi sa isang coalition government.

“At no time has the subject coalition government ever been taken up with Duterte,” ayon sa pahayag ni Sison noong Disyembre 8.
